UNC Coach Rob Koll (2nd Year):
 

Koll began his coaching career at Cornell, where he served as an assistant for four seasons, before being named the head coach at Cornell in 1993. While in Ithaca, Koll collected a dual record of 317-101-5, including a 125-9-1 mark in Ivy League dual action. Koll's teams won 20 Ivy League championships while producing 177 NCAA Championship qualifiers, 71 All-Americas, and 16 NCAA individual national championships.

NC State Coach Pat Popolizio (13 years):
 
Popolizio was named the 2018 Dan Gable co-NCAA Coach of the Year and the 2016 National Coach of the Year by FloWrestling. He has also been a finalist for the NWCA Division I National Coach of the Year each of the last five years in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022. He has been named ACC Coach of the Year three time, in 2018, 2020, and 2021.

Head wrestling coach at the University of North Carolina for 30 seasons.

 Won 15 ACC Championships and 378 dual matches, the most in ACC history in both categories.

 Inducted in the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2005.

 1982 National Wrestling Coach of the Year.

 1983 Amateur Wrestling News’ Man of the Year.

 Led UNC to five top-10 finishes in the NCAA Championships (1982, 1986, 1987, 1994 and 1995).

 Coached five NCAA champions, 37 All-Americas, 166 NCAA Tournament qualifiers, six ACC Wrestlers of the Year and 93 ACC champions

 Founded “WrestlingWith Life,” which specializes in motivational speaking, personal and life skills coaching.

 A three-time wrestling All-America and set the school record for wins at the University of Oklahoma.
