WIBN Social at the 2019 NCAA Championships presented by Defense Soap & The Safe + Fair Food Company

The NCAA Championships are coming to Pittsburgh in March. The best college wrestlers from across the nation will be there to compete, and we'll be there with our annual social event. It's one of our biggest events of the year and something you just have to see to believe. It's a great way to make meaningful connections, have a few drinks, and snack on some delicious appetizers. And, you'll hear from the Managing Director of Octagon's Baseball Division, Alan Nero. The former Head Wrestling Coach at the University of Rhode Island has worked in the financial service industry and has spent 35 years as a sports agent. He now counts 50 Major League ballplayers as well as several current MLB Coaches and two Hall of Fame athletes (1 MLB/ 1 NFL) as clients. You won't want to miss Alan talk about his journey from being a team captain on his Springfield College wrestling team to being named to the Sporting News' "Top 100 Most Powerful Figures in Sports" list. The Venue

The social will be held at the Pittsburgh Marriott City Center. It's a short walk from PPG Paints Arena

Time

The event will be held between the Consolation Finals and the Championship Finals. That should be from roughly 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Alan will take the stage at approximately 3:30pm.
