Wrestlers in Business Network Cleveland Chapter (WIBN) and the Greater Cleveland Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association (GCWCOA) is teaming up with the Cleveland Cavaliers for a night to honor the sport of wrestling.

Join us April 11th, to watch the Cleveland Cavaliers take on reigning MVP, Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks.

To showcase Northeast Ohio Wrestling, The Cavaliers will be recognizing all local Individual State Champions and Place Winners that are in attendance for the game. They will also be honoring any teams that choose to participate who either won a Team State Dual Championship or Team Individual State Championship.

All honorees will have the opportunity to be recognized for their accomplishments on the Court just prior to Tipoff. There will also be a video that is played on the Jumbotron that highlights the 2019-2020 season.

All qualified wrestlers who want to participate in the “on court” celebration, must arrive at the arena by 6pm. Tipoff is at 7:30pm with the on court ceremony taking place at 7:15pm. If you qualify in one of the categories mentioned above and plan to attend the event, please contact Meredith Barnett via email at mbarnett@mytalentlaunch.com. You will need to provide your Name, High School, Division, State Placement Result, Weight Class, Grade, along with a Phone Number and/or Email Address. Meredith will coordinate with all honorees prior to the day of the game.

We believe wrestling is an amazing sport that instills values in our student athletes that will live with them for the rest of their lives. Personal Accountability, Discipline, Perseverance, and Hard Work are just a few of the attributes that help make wrestling the greatest sport on earth! Having the opportunity to showcase Wrestling to the thousands of people who will be in attendance for the Cavs game is a great way to promote and inspire those in our community to want to learn more about our sport.
